Hydroponics System <Best First System>

Whats the best hydroponics system to start with for someone new to hydroponics? I dont want to sacrifice the quality or yield.

Deep water culture is a good start, it's easy.

Start small and simple. The goal of your first grow is in what you learn not what you produce. If you follow through, it will be high quality. Simple DWC like what is described in the thread linked below is good. Even if you aren't good with tools you can build it yourself. The kits are way overpriced and lock you into certain ways of doing things when you want to preserve your flexibility. Another thing, it is almost guaranteed that you will quickly move beyond your first system. That's what it is for, for you to outgrow. That's why you don't spend much on it.

What about nutes? whats the easiest to use?
