will a dr doom fogger poision plants if there is a open res and fogger juice gets all up in the res watter

I wouldn't risk putting plants in there, I don't know for sure if it will harm the plants or not
But why risk it yah know

The Dr Doom fogger is OK for the plants but it will form an oil sheen on a reservoirs surface meaning a lower dissolved oxygen level in the water. As it will infiltrate cracks and open aero pipe drains and around plant stems etc it will cause an oil sheen even if the resrvoir has a lid. Other than that, it is fine except the fact that it is a chemical (man made synthetic version of pyrethrum). Seems every man made concoction nearly always turns out later to be more harmful than the natural product it was made to more cheaply replace.

I recommend that you just buy Buhack. http://www.buhach.com/ It is a natural form of pyrethrum made from certain varieties of chrysanthemum flower buds. You just put a rounded teaspoon or so in a metal container, such as a tuna can and set it on a non flamable surface (another can up side down) and light the powder with a match. It will smolder, it will not burn with a flame. The smoke will fill the room and accomplish the same thing and will actually do better at applying an even coverage to both top and bottom of all leaves etc. Plus it will not form a sheen on the water in the reservoir. Its great stuff, I have been using it for over 30 years inside and out. Outside it is sprayed on with a garden duster as a powder. It is very often used as a natural mosquito repellant both indoors (so you can do withous breeze robbing screens) and outdoors. Dump some in the bottom of a bucket, light it and set it in what ever area you are working or relaxing outside: garden, patio, nude sun bathing area (ooops), under the broken down truck in the drive way etc.
