What is the minimum DWC reservoir capacity you would want to use? And furthermore..Would a 5 Gallon reservoir that is around 8 inches high work out right for a 6 - plant DWC in 5 inch net pots? Im just curious if the nutrient solution will be deep enough.
 
probably not for dwc, once they got a little big the roots would fill that space fast, if ur going for aero setup of somesort, you could have a 1gallon res if u wanted i bet, but ud have to change the nute levels everyday i bet
 
On say a 20 Gallon reservoir for DWC, how often would the nutrient solution have to be adjusted?
 
20 gallon is about right for 6 site setups. The 6 site setups I sell use 6 3inch net pots with aero misters.The roots fill the res fast. You have to check and adjust your res daily to be done right and then most nutes have a reccomended feeding and res change schedule so check the manufacture.I use fox far and its about every 2 weeks suggested res change.I do 1 every week as my setup is for 28 plants and they use all the wtare weekly so its easy to jst dump the last out and refill with fresh soup..
 
Sweet..So would you recommend 3 inch netpots then? I had thought the same, as the roots dont actually grow in the pot but in the reservoir..I was just curious as to whether or not 3 inches would be enough room per plant.

And..You sell homemade aeroponics? As it probably costs around $40 to make..How much you chargin' for them?

-Quick Question..Is an EC meter necessary, using the Sunleaves TDS Digital Pen? Would that be sufficient in combination with a general hydroponics Ph adjust kit?
 
Whoa..How long are you keeping those plants in Veg? I keep mine under for at least four weeks..But I still dont get two pounds, especially in two months..Also, What strains work out well for quick flowering like that?
 
Oh and as for the medium..Is a picture really neccessary? I use hydroton clay pellets..Which are pretty much the industrial clay pellet these days. I dont see very many other brands around.

2 weeks in veg for 24 under one 1000 watter then flip to 12/12 with 3 layers of net thats a big part of my high yeild is 24/3 layers of net:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:oh and co2 pumping at 2000 ppm:mrgreen: oh and my strain is og kush
 
Yeah 3 inch pots are fine as you just need that to hold the base as once the roots fill in the weight holds them down tight .I posted the 30 minute build for these last month but I do sell them prebuilt ready to go. I sell them for $75 plus actual shipping. I include the 6 site tub, 6 netpots, the mister manifold, installed misters,the need hose attachement, a 200 gph pump,some cloning powder to get you going once you got a girl mommy, hydroton for the net pots,6 rockwool cubes and a basic setup instruction sheet to get you going.I dont add any handling fees as the price I sell them for covers the build cost, my time and packaging.Just charge the cost of the ship weight.I can add the 3 bottles of Fox Farm grow nutes for $45 with a feeding chart if needed and I can also get 150 watt cfls if thats the light you want those run about $50 for 2 bulbs your choice red or blue or 1 of each.

you should just go to walmart and buy your tubs /air pumps /air stones/ thats all you need i woulndnt buy any thing from anybody you dont really know
 
You can always buy them from me on ebay nothing illegal about these units and I dont need a real name or confirmed addy.Just pay me and tell me where you want it to go I have no interest in who has these.Walmart would work for a bubbler but they dont have the stuff for the aeros I sell.Either way no problem anyone wants one they can find me
