Default cleaning air and water hoses

i'm trying to find a good way to clean the hoses for my hydro system. i tried alchohol and it doesn't get all the gunk i have in them out. any suggestions?

i take it from the lack of responses most of you use alchohol?

I replace them 9 times out of 10 in my drip system. Replacing the whole system because of this charge it to the game thats the cost of running feeder tubes.

yeah, i have done that once but i'm sure roseman or someone knows a way around that.
