From what I understand, its better to start the cloning before you start flowering...once a plant starts flowering and then you clone it, it has to reverse what it is doing hormonally, in otherwords, it has to stop using its energy for flowering and put all of its energy into producing roots, and that will mess up the hormones, and please someone correct me if I'm wrong, I was told by a grower friend of mine if you do this to a female plant you are more likely to wind up with a hermie...
