i just put 4 bottles in the freezer to freeze. then i will add them to the water see how much it drops. i think 4 bottles for just a 10 gallon tote should drop it significantly. and if that drops it enough i will just keep swapping out the bottles now and then as the days go on. or untill my grow cabinet is free and i can put them in there.

I'm running an aeroponic setup and my res is usually around 72 degrees. I also don't have any light hitting my res.

Additionally I only run my pump 1 minute on, 5 minutes off so it doesn't heat the res. If your grow light is beaming down on ur res, then that's definitely not helping.

I also add a bit of Hygrozyme to each res change to prevent any possible growths, but if ur in the 80+ degree range I dunno if Hygrozyme will even work.

yeah the lights are right on the top of the tote atm. they are only cuttings atm so they provide no shade to the tote. is there some kinda material i could maybe line the top of the tote with to reflect the heat away?

And for the water pump. i didnt think about that. but your right thats gotta be adding to the heat also. i have that on the same schedule as the lights 11pm off 5am on. should i get it its own timer? is that to much water being fed to the rockwool inside the net pots? the cuttings have no roots yet. i get alot of differant answers when i been asking and looking around on how egzacting to use the water pump.
