im thinking of a 400watt hps for first grow or 2 then im buying a solar panel and gonna run a 1000 watt hps and mh and i have about 1.5 meters by 4 meters to play around with
I posted constuction of a flood and drain table. You can buy them 4' by 4', Wouldnt leave much room to move around. That room is about the same size as my flowering area so I have a pretty good idea of how it could work. Do a little research and come back. VV
i realy dont wanna do more research i have countless articles about this on my computer that i have read a couple of times over. so would a flood and drain table be better or using pots and having there own flood and drain pipe? i just wanna check all my info is right before i start growing then realise i have left sumthing out or am doin sumtin wrong
Well, what might determine that for you is your height retrictions. A set of pots can sit on the floor, but pots in a flood table must be elevated, so it will drain.

It isn't complete yet by far, but I thought these pics would give you good idea of what it will be like when finished. I use the SOG (sea of green) method on this setup. I can grow 11 plants and get about 7 oz. of bud in a space the size of a closet in about 45 days. (depending on a lot of factors of course, but that's just an average)
Total cost to build this unit is less than $40.00 USD.
1 - 30 gallon tote box with lid
1 - 3 or 7 watt submersible pump
PVC glue

are sorry mate didnt realise that was a link thanx
hey just looked at the post how much it cost you? it took a wial to find but now i found it i think i luv u lol u seem to know alot about this ay just wondering will it more likely be to hot or to cold in my shed its 1.5 meters by 4 meters and using a 400watt hps. i am just trying to chop down my costs as i am finding it hard to get the 2000 i need for this project so thinking instead of a reverse cycle a/c buying a cooler or a heater to suit the temperature best and getting a reverse cycle a/c in a couple of grows time
