I will put up pics later. PH is fin and so is the ppm. Could temp cause such symptoms?

Yes res temps could have alot to do with it .

Res temps need to be no higher than 75 and no lower than 66 .

I have a chiller and it keeps my temp @ 72 .

If your res temps are higher you can always get a 20 ounce plastic bottle or two and fill them up with water and freeze them , I had to do that before I got the chiller .

If you do figure out that it is your temps ,You might want to consider doing a res change and adding some Hygrozyme, It wont have any effect on your PH or PPM , It helps in cleaning the roots up and helping keep bacteria and fungus out .
