This is some really good info on C02
Was wondering--- I am running a carbon filter all day, it runs through my light and the to exhaust. My temps are right at 75-80 ontop the canopy and 5-6 degrees cooler below the canopy. Do you think I need to runn CO2... will i see great improvements on my budding. :::Only reason I had mentioned that he flush the whole tank.... If there is too much salt build up on the roots then they are not going to take any nutes even if you dilute them. It happened to me last grow and I freaked out. Had to dump 50 gallon res and flush nutes. Now I know all i had to do was use a 5 gallon bucket and switch hoses , but a ebb and flow is a bit diff the a DWC or Aero:::

i personally have a more elaborate method of flushing, for my systems i let the pumps run, add my fresh water source from a hose/sink, at the same time i run a pump, pumping out the water in the rez....this way i constantly check the ppms and watch them get lower, i have a drip system in a tray, lots of salt gets stuck to the clay pellets, i can run a fresh rez no nutes and the drain water would be 250ppm, mind you my tap water is 25ppm, so as i run the system and fresh water gets pumped to all plant sites, i have the other pumping out, all the while fresh water is coming in, therefore i dont flush the system with that 250ppm drain water thats been recirculating, once i get the drain water back to under 50ppm i am happy and know i did a good thoro flush, having water that strong will mess with your ph and all the rez changes in the worl wont help, i have to do this once a month and tro be honest i used flora kleen and clearex and i think i wasted my money, i believe they are great for container plants. i understand this isnt feasable for most who dont have a hose nearby and the extra pump laying around

i believe adding co2 will eliminate a need for constant exhausting, most people are exhausting to get rid of odor and for those who dont use air cooled hood to get rid of heat and humidity, the co2 will allow you to run higher temps, now you say you want to add a carbon filter? no problem, instead of ducting out the fresh air, just leave the filter/fan with no duct, it will "scrub" the room air without needing to make another hole in the wall, also you wont need to bring in fresh air into the grow room, so theres another hole in the wall and fan that you dont need. have an air cooled hood and co2? no problem, just creat a hole in the wall for fresh air intake that runs thru the fan and into your hood and out the room thru an exhaust hole, this way the grow space air isnt effected. the way you have it running now is just fine for your setup, the most economical way of having a setup with carbon ffilter involved is haveing your filter attatched to yourfan, sucking stinky air thru the filter and blowing it throu your hood to cool the light and out the room, this method knocks out 2 birds with one stone, but you will need at the very minimum an intake for fresh air to provide what little co2 comes in with it and also for colling purposes, but you will find using this method that your co2 can is gonna run dry very soon, so if you want air cooled hoods, carbon filtrtation and co2, i advise you to get a 2nd fan just for the lights and let the carbon filter run periodically to preserve co2, its obvious you need to run the fan all day to cool lights, at this rate you can blast co2 and the plants wont get any cus it gets sucked out so fast. you can figure out how long to run co2 with the calculator and if say it says to run for 30mins daily, run it 3-4 times for shorter periods directly after your filter runs, your question about should you add it? its not necessary but, if you want to take it to the next level and depending if you have decent harvests it just may pay for itself after your first grow, depending on scale of grow, but heres the double edged sword, you dont want those crazy high temps if you run hydro, if you were in soil no need for a/c let that bitch get up to 95

I finaly got my new 450 inline fan today so i can switch out my 265 cfm thats been cooling the light and use it to power my scrubber, my girls dont smell much yet but when they do ill have it on a timer that i can i can set it to go on as much as needed and time my co2 to resupply when it kicks off but im looking hard at a co2 moniter/control to make life easier. im also using some duct to pull the hot air from the back of the ac for my intake to cool my light to further cool the suroundind area. morris im a chickin to go to hot in my grow intell i get a moniter, with the fans and ac on in that little area its pretty windy, i cant help but to wonder how much leaks out, my nuts are to little to go in the 90s without a moniter, but im buying one in less than a week, then its 90s!! ps i hope im not graded on spelling

Those are some seriously healthy looking plants, I do not believe a flush is necessary... that fine an edge of nute-burn means that they are consuming at least 99% percent of it. I would just back off a litle bit and see how things work... They look super healthy to me! In theory don't you want to feed them all the nutes they can handle, to maximize their potential? It isn't like they have brown burnt leaves, alittle yellow around the edge is not that bad in my opinion.
