First Grow and want to make sure im doing it right. Here is what im working with:
~~~~System~~~~Aeroponic, "The Rain Forest 66"
~~~~Light~~~~~~Metal Halide 400 watt, 4 feet suspended
~~~~Nutrients~~~Pure Blend Pro Grow, when flowers Pure Blend Pro Bloom
~~~~Plants~~~~~5 plants, not sure what kind but they are good
~~~~Light Cycle~~19 on/5 off for now

I just started this setup 2 days ago, plants are about 3 inches give or take. Anything else i should be doing? How often should i change the water out completly? The tank is 18 gallons i believe and i fill it to about 16. How often should I add more nutrients? Do I only add them when i change the water? Any advice is MUCH appreciated. Thanks and happy tokin

Dude, your setup is nice. You should do very well. Read the Growers Bible, it answers ALL questions. I don't grow the hydroponic method, so I'm can't answer your questions, best of luck!

Yes your setup is nice. Once you start seeing good growth drop the light down to about 18 inches or closer depending on your heat. You can make your mix and add it to your res or even better completely change the water every two weeks. You will prolly have to constantly check your ph and adjust the res. cause it will constantly change. Good luck.

I have a 400watt HPS MH lighting setup. Growing in quality soil with superthrive and blood and bone, but not until they are big enough to take the food. The first time they all went male and now about every plant is turning male. Its a waste of time and power. Is there a reason why my plants always turn male? Most of them only grow under 30 cm and they bud too early. I'm getting a MH with a red spectrum, so I am hoping that will produce better results. And how do you get feminized seeds or have a higher percentage rate that they will be female? Plz Help
