    Jamrock,

What you would probably have to worry about most is the shock to the roots, and root damage. Someone wrote recently, to cover the roots with a plastic bag or wrap with syran wrap to remove them from the base.

What I am going to do, is create a dwc system opposite the aerogarden... use the same pods just cut the holes in the buckets to match that in the aerogarden. I think this might provide less shock to the roots, as long as the water is of the same nature(ph, temp).

    hope this helps

Heres the main problem...stop using aerogardens as they are wrong wrong wrong for weed.Damn the tv people for juicing noobs making them think these would work lol They are too small not enough light not enough control and way over priced with the wrong settings and feed schedules.Good luck and dump the aero garden unless you need some dill or parsley

yea i wish i knew what i know now when i bought my aerogarden.. i would have definatley made something my self, i'm even considering building something to transplant my aerogarden plants to.. i wouldnt say its horrible, but pointless when you can build your own bubbleponics system for $40 and get greater yields

I found that starting in the aero garden gets full thick plants, no stretching. then putting into dirt gets a good start. So far so good. At he time of the changethough, once must be very careful with the thick and many roots.

Good luck on building healthy plants with that. I believe soil might shock the roots too much. So they MAY not absorb as much nutrients as they should, and your plant would be alot healthy if you moved on to some sort of water based system.

The Aero is a great machine for veg... think if one could, veg on the aero then flower in a seperate area with seperate lighting you could have a good supply every 7-8 weeks.. maybe less depending on the strain.

I wouldn't say the machine is a complete waste... it gets noobs thinking about it, unfortunately at a higher cost, and with more problems then one would hope[still waiting for my replacement pump(they are sending me a couple other free things though)]. If someone had a hps light they could get a large yield out of 1-3 plants, using the aero.
