ive got a few seedlings in a bubbler, and yesterday i changed the res and switched from a new seedling/cuttin fert from miracle grow to grow big foxfarm hydro solution, it had been sittin around outside for a while which is what makes me think it might have gone bad? but ya today the roots were covered in brownish slime, so i changed the res again and put em in a solution of just distilled water and some hydrogen peroxide. anyone know if organic nutes can go bad?

Grow Big isn't organic. (it's blue or green, right?) It can go bad...but if it is you will probably hear it seperating as the heavy mins chunk together and fall out of suspension.

Not sure why ya got the slime...temps maybe? Or..maybe the MG and Ff reacted together somehow...dunno. The onlyt time I've burnt stuff BADLY was switching from chems to organics..so I guess anything can happen.

ya the roots were coated pretty well with the brown slim, theyre fine now i think im just gunna stay away from that bottle of fert just in case, since it happened about 12 hours after adding the nutes and all that was in the nute mix was dist water and the foxfarm
