Default Resevoir Size and Nute Volume

    Hey Guys,

I'm about to start up the new drip system for use on about a dozen seedlings. My resevoir can hold up to 18 gallons. Given that I will only be feeding seedlings, I'm wondering how many gallons of nutrient solution I should prepare??? I dont want to make up more than the plants will need as to conserve mutrient concentrate.

That said, how many gallons of solution should I run through they system while the plants are very yourn/small???

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
The more solution you use, the less often you have to change it out. You must regularly throw away your solution and change it out with a fresh batch.

You should change your solution when the amount you have added back equals the original amount. What this means is if you use less in your reservoir, you will have to change it out more often.
