So this is my first indoor grow using a homemade drip system with a 150w HPS. I'm using Earth Juice organic nutes.

My 2 seedlings here are only 9 days old and I started counting as soon as the heads where sticking out of the rockwool.


Should I leave the light on 24/0 till the have a couple more nodes or would it be ok to switch to 18/6?

How so they look? How am I doing? Any suggestions on what I can do to make it better? Thanks alot in advance.

Your setup is almost identical to mine. Except I'm using two 70watt HPS. There is no real difference between running 18/6 and 24, besides your electric bill. As far as suggestions to make it better... You should veg your plants under a light with more of a blue spectrum. Then bud them under your HPS. Plants use more blue druuing veg, and more red when flowering. HPS will work the whole way through, just not as well as using a different lights for each stage.

Ya i wanted to get both lights eventually but for my first grow this will do me fine. Thanks for the tips. Do you leave your pump continuously running? My buddy has a similar system to ours and he runs the pump constantly and he has beautiful plants.

I run my pump 6 times a day for 15 minute durations. My plants are healthy.
