can i put nft on timer

wat up i was wondering if i can put my nft system on a timer i know that its ment to run 24 hours a day but my pump failed for about 36 hours before i noticed and they grew more than they have done running 24 hours and how often should i set the timer if i can (peace)

There are definately alot of advantages to running aero systems on a timer, namely letting the roots dry a bit and search for water, making them bigger and happier. I've heard everything from 1 minute on 6 minutes off to 1 hour on 15 minutes off. So its obviously something you're gonna have to experiment with to get it dialed in.

In any event you'll probably need to invest in a decent cycle timer, they usually run about 100 bucks.

i have exactly the same setup, i have a 24 hour timer, (not digital), i can set it up in 15 mins interviaws, so setting it up for a hour and 15 mins off would be ace as i have it constant at the moment.. is it actually safe to do as there will be no water at all getting to the roots..
