I just added a 6 mil panda sheet that sort of drapes over the
tub with 6" cut outs for each basket.
This serves a few purposes:
1) it makes for pretty good bottom light reflection.
2)it keeps the tub much darker,hopefully keeping algae at bay
3)it also hides the minor flaws in my cut outs, I had to cut them out with
a carpet knife.

I have a couple of questions for those of you with experience.
Should I make panda circles to cover the baskets too?
What am I supposed to do with H2O2?
and should I add an air pump to further aerate the water?
your insights would be greatly appreciated.

air pumps are always good! i don't use h202, but if i did, i'd use a capful per gallon.
