Hey everybody
I have couple of questons,I'am almost ready to start this grow in hydro and this is my first hydro.EBB & flood tray 22"x22"x7" with 5"net pots, 1.How deep do you flood the tray?2. Should I put hydroton{clay balls} in the tray and how much? My tray has a white cover with holes for the 5" pots. This what I plan on doing is veg 4 plants under400Watt MH light in ebb tray till they are 12"to18" tall and pull the pot out of the tray and put it in the flowering closet under The 400 watt HPS light.I hope this will work,What do you guys think about this plan? All and any comments are welcome. This should be the last hump in the road before I start this grow. PEACE

the water should rise to just below the top of the medium in your net pots. even a few inches short of this mark will suffice once you have good root development (a week or two). you won't have to worry about filling the flood tray with hydroton if you have a lid covering it (very nice). hydro = good shit.

Yeah, you want to put the rocks in the pots, and the pots in the holes, and the plants in the rocks.
