I have 3 plants in my hydroponic system.
It has 2 air pumps with 2 air stones and is on its first day of flowering.
I have been using 3 part Micro, Grow, Bloom nutrients with some liquid seaweed also.

How would I get nice size colas on my main stem?

Hey man, i'm like responding to a ton of your threads today.

Try to get the lights quite a bit closer (like about 2.5-3 inches)
Not to be technical but: the delivered energy of a light will increase 4 times, if it is moved half as close. e.g. if energy is 10 (w/e that means) at 1 ft., it will be 40 at 6 inches.

I don't know what kind of seeds thosse are but mine are pretty dank bagseed and i got the light about 2.5 inches above. They're pretty dense i think... at least the second set of pics

You may want to try some co2.
You also need good ventilation (not while co2 is going)
Those cfl's should be able to place within 2" of the plant witout burning them.
This is if you have good air flow from ventilation.

You should do just fine as you are with the o2 going on in the dwc.
You may want to get specific and precise info on the nutes.
Sounds like you already have an Idea with the nutes.

For 1 big cola you want to chop all of the lower branches so that the plant focus' on the one big cola.
See sea of green in growfaq (SOG)

You do not want to do this in flower though.
This should be done during veg.
