Default What gallon resevoir are you using?
I would like to know what would be the ideal size resevoir for a 10 plant hydroponic system?

I dissagree but agree entirely. U can grow more plants per square foot by introducing different grow styles into each system. Im growing 13 plants in a single 18 gallon res using Al b fucts system and ideas.
U can mainupulate these plants to pertain entirely to ur needs.
Ive harvested 3 plants in a 5 gallon bucket with no problems.
It all depends on grow experience knowing what to expect and being able to control the environment ur plants r growing in.

I probibly should have clarified.. i meant 5gal/plant is perfect but you can def get away with a lot les.. shit u can do 1gal/plant. when it comes to hydro, i dont believe there is a specific rule of thumb for the res volume.

I have 4 setups right now. Only 3 in use as I am flowering my old soil moms under 1 light.

Each system has 3-50" fence posts with 5-3" Net pots in each for 15 plants per system. I use a 50 gallon Reservoir but only fill about 25 gallons.. Once I've added 20 gallons of fresh water I change out the nutes completely ...usually right about 2 weeks..

The more solution used the smaller the swings in ph and ppm will be making it much easier to control. I could use 35 gallons or more but I'd just be burning thru more nutes. As it is I have about 120 gallons in all of my reservoirs at all times.

I have a Hydologic R/O system and a 55 Gallon barrel to store the water in..

Good luck to you
