Default Root Film + Another Question?
I have no pics, I apologize- the most I can tell you about my set up is its a plant braced above a quart-sized resovoir of bubbling water (not quite a DEEP water culture bubbler, asm uch as just a single-plant bubbler). This is the plant I brought back to life from near death.

Question 1, the root
: I take the plant out each night to see how its roots are doing, and lately- when I take the roots out, there is this almost forcefield of water/film over the roots. Not just a slimey slick gloss- but a literal barrier of 1/25th inch of liquid encasing the root. My guess is- this is the nutrients and Superthrive adhering to the roots and protecting them. My bubbler is fine- water is moving so I doubt this is some nasty standing water creeping onto the root, but is it possible? Does this sound normal or even beneficial, that it seems my nutrients are forming a moving barrier around the root?

Question 2, still the root: Along with this enclosure of water around the root- my plant seems to only have one long root. Meaning- where as people's plants have massive hairs of roots like matted dog hair, my plant has one fairly thick root, as if its just a white stem- its just as thick as the stem itself, and has very few little root branching off- just that one gigantic root. Should I do anything to change this? My plant is very healthy and growing its 2nd set of tiny leaves (those 4 diagonal ones that come out of the 2 + cotyl set), but just wondering if its a problem and I should notch the root or do anything to let it grow more?

Question 3, my tank: My bubbler tank is just a quart-sized ziploc tupperware. Ive been changing nutes and water every 2 days considering the small amount of water. Is this good? Should I change more often, less often?
