i respect your opinion but i think it can be done . ive seen sogs with 1 plant per 8in. also correct me if im wrong, but the only difference between my plan and al b. fucts is that his is a larger scale and he uses 2 lights. 1 over 2 trays in different growth periods and 1 over 2 other trays in different growth periods.

But is an eraser dude. You just erased the respect you tried to say you have for his opininion. He isn't saying don't grow in that area. What he is trying to do is point out the problems you are going to have with all the different plant heights.
I suppose if you wanted to you could make adjustment by putting them on seperate shelves. Sounds like a lot of work. Maybe, as btdt is suggesting, you would get the same yield by flowerign all of the plants at once, and then putting the clones you took into flowering. So go ahead and do it the way you think is best. I doubt you will get many intelligent responses to how you can set up Al B's system in that small of an area.
Oh, I almost forgot, how are you going to water them at these different hieght using a flood and drain system? Does the strain you are going to use flower in 8 weeks?

i was going to go with 1 250 watt hps for flowering in this cabinet. maybe if i did 2 shelves each with one 150 watt hps. then i could put weeks 1-4 on one shelf , and 5-8 on the othere. that way there is less of a difference in height and less plants to share the light. what you think"?

I think you are trying to create a problem because you like Al B's idea. i like it too, and have mine almost setup that way. I have dealt with different plant heights, part of learning I guess. Part of successful sog growing is having all the plants the same height, and that is the difference between what you are trying to explain to us and Al B's system. His system is set up to be easy, yours is going to be set up to make it hard. Big difference.
By the way, using his system I don't have to fim, lst, or move shelves and lights around. VV
