i thought temps had something to do with how much air you want in the water.

nope.. the air pump allows the plant to breathe thru drinking oxygenated water... keep your temp under 80 in ur grow room and if ur water feels warm then throw some frozen water bottles in ur water or ull get root rot

im starting a 14 bucket dwc in the morning any suggestions for a first timer

yah.... only do one bucket lol.. i would totally like to see this setup.. which strain are you going with and what nutes will you use?

I'm going with white skunk. I'm waiting to get a camra so i can post some pics. I have a 10 gal tub with 3 plants. A 30-60 g air pump with 2 10 in air stones. I'm useing advanced nutes 3 part with cal-mag. I have a 400w mh/hps system comming in a week or so. Till then i have em under a 300w cfl. hope that will do till i get my other system.

Are you getting the 400HPS/MH light from htgsupply.com? Im lookin for a good light and seen one on there im interested in and its dirt cheap

no iwas thinking of geting one from their too but their is a store close to me that will give me a good deal on one. 220 for an electronic ballast hortilux bulb m/h conversion bulb and reflector.
