Deep water culture only thread

Me too, just too much of a noob to be able to post pics, unless you want to see some ugly ass burned little babies.

Perhaps in a month or two, once I'm back on track, I'll be able to post something worthwhile. In the meantime I am following this thread!!!

Hey new member at this forum site here...from breedbay originally,anyways i was looking for a more active thread on DWC and well here I found it. I am doing a deep water culture experiment really. I used a 18 Gallon Rubbermaid Tote, and regular paint cups(with holes drilled of course), hydroton, and a small aquarium air pump, complete with a 18 inch long airstone. I am very new at this, as this is the second week I have had this running. So far so good, they have doubled in size, bright beautiful green. Anyways, I want to keep current on this thread to see what others are doing and what not..thanks guys..

a few little updates for yall....ill be posting some other dwc's from the past soon

20 Gallon DWC setup Here. plant is a 9 month old mother plant thats been topped about 6 times, Its about 3 feet tall and 3 and a half feet across. Today is day 2 of flowering. Hoping for a 10 oz+ off this one plant. 600 Watt Lumatek digital w agrosun bulb in cool tube with 440 CFM can fan and 60 pound Carbon scrubber. I have 18 more plants in a box next to this one, 1 of which will be the replacement mother.

interesting way you have your light vertical. Do you think you could grow more plants with your light horizontal?

NICE JOB nodrama....JUST GOES TO SHOW YA ANY CONTAINER CAN BE USED IN DWC.....I DONT WANNA MENTION NO NAMES BUT I KNOW OF SOMEONE ON HERE THAT HAS USED PICKLE JARS AND NET POTS.....JUST DEPENDS ON YOUR BUDGET AND WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU GOT ARE SOMETIMES TWO DIFFERENT THINGS...IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO KEEPING YOUR WATER AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE AND ENOUGH OXYGEN.....HOPEFULLY TOMMORROW ILL GET SOME PICS OF MY AIR PUMP FOR YOU GUYS......the reason why i use vertical is i simply like it...i want a horizontal one added so ill have 3 600watt hps digital lights...then light will come from all angles....in my own experiance ive noticed bigger bottom nugs with the lights like this.UMMMM maybe ill show ya what i mean
