My hydro plant is running out of room! She's about two feet tall at the moment, and has gotten nearly three feet wide. I just don't have the space to allow for anymore outward growth, but I can handle another 12-18 inches of upward growth. Will trimming the offending fanleaves have any negative impact on my plant? She's not going to flower; I'm ditching the CFLs for another grow and I'll be keeping this plant under flouro tubes to veg for the rest of her life... I just want to make sure that the occasional haircut isn't going to kill her.

I wouldn't cut fan leaves, they are the solar panels of the plant. You'll have to snip some branches, just like you were taking cuttings, or pruning any other plant that you need to make smaller.
