Default Anyone use Canna Nutes?
hey-

relatively new poster on RIU. so, hello all.

so, has/does anyone use(d) Canna brand nutrients? more specifically, the aqua vega (parts A & B), and the aqua flores (parts A & B)?

i posed this query on another site, and no one that uses or has used Canna nutes has answered. just folks who are telling me, "well, GH is what most people use," or, "most nutes are the same."

so, let me finish by begging you NOT to reply to this thread if you haven't used Canna nutes. i don't care what most people use. and most nutes aren't the same, though they all share similarities.

thanks in advance. oh and if it matters i run:
-4-site ebb and flow table
-hydroton as the medium.
-my clones (will) go straight from the bubble cloner to the hydroton then grow container will be covered to protect roots from light.

stay safe.

I have been using canna for 5 years now.....ever since it has been in my area....i drive an hour away just to get the shit so that should tell ya something.....i also noticed that their formula for the nutes is great use their directions....until you feel comfortable then expieriment......i tend to increase what they say and have had awesome results so far...some people say that its not worth the money but i differ with that.....i also use both boosters in deep water culter and coco.....check out their website or their phamplets..very informative they know their shit thats for sure...i also only use the aqua series for both my deep water culture buckets and my coco...has anyone else done this before....coco seems to have no prob with the hydro nutes......

Canna Nutrients are at the top of the list for any nutes currently available to me at this time. I have been using Canna for several years with great success. I have seen that you can fluctuate the nute levels to your liking and Canna always balances itself out. But for beginners canna tells you exactly what to use in each stage of life.

My understanding is coco will add some micro nutrients and remove others. So the canna coco has a slightly diffrent balance of micro nutrients. Although as long as there is not too much or too little maybe micro nutrients do not matter that much.

Also who uses H2O2 with coco? Up to now I use beneficial fungi. My plants look nice but I fight with the PH every day. I lower it to 5.8 in the evening and it is 6.3 by the next day. So I lower it again. I am not sure if maybe the beneficial fungi raise the PH like pathogens do? I was thinking of using some h2o2 in my res. Maybe I should leave it alone and keep adding PH down.
