his set up is pretty cool. i looked for weeks to find the tray or chamber to grow in or what every you want to call it. he uses one of those 4x4x10 plastic fence post . i dont know how i missed that in all the hours of walking around big box hardware store looking. the 6" PVC i use is awkward and a little on the big side plus it was $26 10'.
i refuse to buy these systems for the over inflated prices these company's want to charge. ill build it. hell i been thinking of slapping the cloner i made on ebay just to see what i could fetch. i would have to clean up the construction a little make it look less homemade. but for the 1/3 of the price i bet it would sell. Power Cloners from Growco Indoor Garden Supply $339 my cloner just add a dome, which i never use, cleaner construction. total cost about $50 x 50% markup $100 out the door. water pump, air pump, air stones, tubing everything hell for there $339 i could throw in the 2' 4 t5s and still make $100+ a sale. my t5s $169 cloner.jpg AeroFlo2 20 aeroponics system, from Growco Indoor Garden Supply $339 my aero under the insulation its pretty clean. it PVC how dirty can it be. especially since i am a pipe fitter. my reservoir is on the other side of the wall for temp reasons. but it could look just like the one in the ad if i used the fence post. total cost about $75 sell for $150 pump, reservoir everything. you could throw in a $150-$200 600w hps and have the whole set up for around the price of there system. thetorpedo (Large).jpg resopn.jpg who wants one. fuck it ill give the plans to RIU members. - CLONER by Yelodrvr Marijuana Growing $free |

This is gr8, could i put smaller holes for more clones??... how the hell do you PLUS REP?!?!..... i been on this site for this long and still dont know how to, you deserve one for this............

yea you can make the holes anyway you want. i have two lids. one the cuts out are about 1". i just stick the clone in a 1' neoprene and insert into hole. no net pots. when i get roots going i pack the clone in a 3" net pot with hydrotron rock. change lid and veg in the same cloner. when i move to flower just pick up the net pot and roots, slide it in the torpedo tube.
i am going to take clones in a day or two. i have never really posted it step by step. maybe i will this time. |

day 11 flower. nutes are 1100ppm now. night time air 64f. is that to low? lights on temp 71f.
its taken a long time to get the temps right. i think all my past problems where cause by high room and resi. temps. all i need to do is add a ac unit this summer and all should be good. over the weekend i re done the hack job i did on the drywall when i built the wall. replace the fan in the wall with a blower. with the window open, and the winter air its perfect. maybe to cold. i shut the window at night. i cant seem to be able to figure out this camera. the pics make the plants look real bad. lots of yellow. but there really is no yellow. a few tips maybe. i cut back all the nute deficiencies from veg, those spots are brown not yellow. anyway. i was able to get one in macro that is as close as i can get to the true over all color of the plants. color.jpg plant 1 1.jpg1.1.jpg1.2.jpg plant 2 the runt 2.jpg plant3 3.jpg3.1.jpg plant 4 4.jpg4.2.jpg all 4 all.jpg these are some macro shots. trying to get a good shot of sex. the first look female to me. the other 2 i ant tell. what you think? Nice job sir.... One of the pics i really cant tell, 3 are for sure females but the one without the pistels looks like it may be producing balls up top on the cola....but way to early to tell...AWEsome job dude

day 14 flower.
decided to get rid of the runt. the other where towering over it. started the beans a buddy gave me. i was worried because i gremed them and took a look at day 3, the tap roots where long and yellow, the shells where loose, and i didnt have and damn rockwool cubes. but they bounced right back. the tube looks different because took the insulation off to investigate a leak. the room temps 71f light on, 65F lights off. ppm 1200 PH 5.9 water temp 68f the tallest plant was 8" at day 1 flower. now there all about 17" i am sure there will be more stretch. i only topped one plant. just kind of experimenting. no LSTing or anything. all.jpg1,2.jpg2,3.jpg plant 1 1.jpg1.2.jpg plant 2 2.jpg2.2.jpg2.3.jpg plant 3 3.1.jpg3.2.jpg propagation tray. i will start clones soon, next few days. need to get the shelf going also. seeds.jpg |

wondering if i should have a lot more more bud development. seems things are going slow right now. cant remember from last few harvest what they looked like at 20 days, and my pics in past grow where not labeled very well. everything seems good, ph is fine, temps 65f lights off, 72f on. i had some banding happening in the top fan leaves. so i dumped the res and cleaned it. fresh nutes a little hydro gaurd, the banding is dissipating. beside that i dont see what would slow the growth. maybe its just me.

this shit cant be right. i am in day 26 of flower and no buds forming. i went back through old grows and pics, but unfortunately i did not label very well in the past. i have trouble remembering last week let alone months ago. so i am unsure where i should be at for 26days.
any body have any opinions, or better yet any pics of a plant around 26 days flower? i did start nutes late. i am now only at 1200ppm. i have also had temp issues. again but this time its cool temps. trying to find a happy medium. its winter here and using outside air to cool room. temps where swinging from lights on 75F to lights off of 65F maybe a little lower. would be late nutes be the problem? would the cooler temps at night be the problem? or they look fine go smoke a bowl and chill fool!!! any thoughts? |
