I’m so glad that Kindprincess has acknowledged that Advanced Nutrients is top notch. My experience with AN products has proven that not only are they top notch, but fantastic! I am in the process of harvesting super-sized buds, much bigger and resinous than ever before, thanks to the ultra-premium new base fert from AN, Connoisseur A & B.

This super-colossal base fert is only available for the bloom stage at this point. I started using Connoisseur in midstream, during week 3 of flowering. Prior to that my six female plants were developing nicely, using AN’s 2-part, Sensi Grow A & B and Sensi Bloom A & B.

I also used their root colonizers, B-vitamins, and Fulvic and Humic Acid. Then during the first week of bloom I used Bud Blood, during weeks 2,3,& 4 Big Bud, and during weeks 5&6, Overdrive. Yet the four week of applications of Connoisseur A & B made a world of difference from my previous grows.

The stalks became fatter, the leaves seemed to burst with nutrients, and the buds grew and grew and grew. The calyxes started swelling, until they looked like they had seeds in them, even though I’m growing unfertilized ladies.

I talked to the tech guys at AN and they explained that the polyamino alcohols in Connoisseur actually make the cannabis cells more elastic, enabling the leaves to hold more carbohydrates. Then when the buds require an extra boost of carbs, they get it from the swollen leaves.

I did get a bit of tipburn when I first introduced Connoisseur, but I cut back on the ppm and it worked fine from then on. Some strains of cannabis require light feeding with this new super nutrient, some are happy with medium feeding.

AN has a very handy online Nutrient Calculator, which figures out the weekly quantities of their basic ferts, supplements, root colonizers, bloom boosters, and carbo additives that add up to the proper EC or ppm reading that will result in an optimum harvest.

The increased yield with Connoisseur in terms of weight, density, and potency (yes I did clip and taste) more than compensates for the additional cost of obtaining this product.

If you’re more of a budgeter and less of a gourmand, sticking with the tried and true AN 2-part, as I did, or the very effective 3-part will still guarantee a very decent harvest each time. I’ve stopped using their competitors’ products years ago, since I realized that you can’t beat AN’s cannabis-specific nutrients with their proven track record.

Well, like I've said before, I can grow better buds than yours without that expensive crap.
