I have 5 plants in a SH bubbleponics system, one of them is stunted, but I will probably give him away, the other four are apparently healthy except for the problems shown in the pictures, I am only putting up photos now because of security, although I would have loved to share this grow (my first ever) with the rollitup community. They were all grown in rock wool cubes with hydroton surrounding them in the netted planters. They were in veg. stage for about 5 weeks but do to other timing issues I needed to induce flowering. They went from 24/0 lighting to 12/12 on 4/19/07 and were changed from the micro/grow, to micro/bloom and 100ml of Sweet by botanicare was added, I also add a little (50ml?) 3% h2o2 every time I change the water (every 10 days) and have the dual spectrum 2 lights about 3-4in from the plant tops. For some reason no roots have developed??? I am very confused by this, although I believe all 5 plants are females!!!

rest of the pics, the little bits of dirt on the plants are the little white specks, they probably looked unusual and I didn't want that to throw anyone off.
they dont look to bad.how much air are they getting and whats the room and water temp. min water temp around 70 max around 75-80. room temp 70-85 these are what i use and works well. cant understand the root problem. id also move the lights about 12 inches away if they hds. what are you measuring your nutes with and whats the ph
Tokaboy where did you get those water temps from. 65 degree water will hold more oxygen than 70 degree water, and at 75 to 8o degrees you are in trouble.
The 'root problem' ain't a problem. Why? If it were the plants would be dying. One of the advantages of growing hydro is that you don't need a big root system because you are giving the plants all the nutrition they need without the roots having to grow large. The plants can concentrate on Budding instead of 'rooting' looking for food.
thnx victor, I was just concerned after seeing roseman's plants with massive root systems doing very well, because I know it accelerates growth and my plants aren't doing as well, I guess its just one of those first time mistakes, I think it's because I flooded them with water and didn't let them get enough air in the beginning.

thats what my temps are usually about 73. which is ok but can leave you open to problems with your roots. none so far. everyone has different methods due to different circumstances . had water at 65 before the plant stopped growing. different strains need different environments i appreciate your constructive criticism. we're all here to help
