Hey all, whats good?

I have some seedlings going atm... lets say i have 8 going in dwc under 800w metal halide, and 4 sitting in rockwoold under a dome and some 4 6500k cfls. Both sets are 1 week old...

my question is... the 4 that are just in rockwool and in the dome are under 24/0 and they have significant root formation. The ones that are under the MH and in the DWC are on 18/6, and their growth is no where near as fast as the ones under the dome (no roots protruding, smaller in size).

There are a number of variables: All are bag seed, there are two different types from different bags/people... i have 2 of each under the dome, and 4 of each under the mh. I think given the distribution, that comparing the two sets is fairly balanced. The other variables are the DWC and the humidity dome, the lighting, and the light cycles.

Do you think the difference in growth is because of the different lights or the different light cycles?

For posterity, let it be known that i'm continuing out the second week of seedling stage with 24/0 cycle... after a couple days of observation, I definately think that 24/0 grows seedlings faster... still gonna do 18/6 for veg...
