Has anyone used LED grow lights, im concidering it due to electrical costs

do you know the light output and the color spectrum?

If these work well, its pretty tempting, i could put like 8 of them in a small space and not worry about heat, as it is the problem i runinto is during flowering it gets a bit close to the lights towards the end.

Hell yeah. where do you buy these? I seen some at lowes where I got my cfl's. I was wondering about them. I had meant to do a search but, I forgot.
The red is for flowering and the blue is for veg.
Looks like the would be even cooler than cfl's.
Not sure if cheaper though.
I bet you could almost place them right on the plant.

i picked up 6 2 blues and 4 reds for 60 on ebay

plan on trieing it once my curent grow is done and goes back into vedge in 4 weeks
