I can't see why not, it will most likely cause unwanted stress on the plant.

You can transplant from soil to hydroponics. I've never tried it but I'm sure it works just fine. Follow the directions found on this link.... Creative Hydroponics

u can go from dirt to hydro but not from hydro to dirt but y would u want to

You can do it but its a lot of work why not just start out in rockwool cubes and save yourself the trouble of having to wash the dirt off the roots and the potential plant shock.
