The best bet would be to build your own and save money. It's no harder than fitting lights and exhaust fans to a common storage cabinet, or to make a tent out of lightproof 'panda film.'

yeh but for those who are lazy and have a nicely stuffed wallet these systems are great... hence why I don't have one.

I'm cheap- and lazy... but I'm cheaper than I am lazy.

I build stuff- not JUST to save money, though. I really don't want growing stuff delivered to my house by anyone but me.

If it was the other way around, I'd buy stuff instead of building. I hate spending dough on stuff I can knock up in the workshop for cheap.

I'm aint to lazy but i cant even snap together a entertainment center, so a well made one for $1800 is great. I just hope shipping is discreet. I will post pics as i go weekly and let ya'll know what's up. As far as seed's what strain is a good recomendation for starting some nice plants that will fit in the cabinet. Also where's a dependable source for seed's shipped to the U.S? I was thinking feminized but how many plant's are good to grow in the mini cool cab, it say's 14 but how many should i really put?Thanks again.

oh, well... if you want PRETTY stuff, that's not my department. I make ugly shit out of junk, but with a solid engineering plan- so it usually works OK.

If you must have something shipped, it's best to have it drop shipped to a well-trusted non-growing friend's house.

I use Sweet Tooth #4 from Spice of Life Seeds, ought to be available from a number of seedbanks. Works very well in Sea of Green. High yields, fungus and disease resistant.

What will fit in your cabinet will not be determined as much by the genetics as how you choose to grow. The SoG technique of flowering cuttings as soon as they have set root and removing all branching on the lower 1/3 of the plant results in a single stalk of buds about 30-36" tall in week 8.

You can fit each SoG plant in an 8" circle of floorspace.

Feminised seeds are not a sure thing. You'll get a greater percentage of females than with untreated seeds, but you won't get 100% females every time. To be assured of females every time, you'll need to establish a mother plant and use it to feed cuttings into your flowering area. This entails having a small area or cabinet to maintain a mother plant under 18+hour/day light and a clonebox with heatmat and 18+hour/day fluoro light.

I know noyhing about cuttings and taking from other plants. or obtaining a mother plant. I was just hoping getting the cabinet some good seeds ordered, plant them, use floros or HID for a bit then switch to the HPS. I have the jorge bible so i will learn as a go that help me with cuttings. Cant i just get some great seeds, plant them, treat them great, cut the top and grow about 7 nice plants? thanks too man!
