yeh the cubes have been sitting ontop of about 2 inches of hydroton rocks , they havent seen water since yesterday i did its first cycle , they sucked a hell of a lot of water up so i'm waiting for them to dry up a bit and i'm going to hand water for a couple more days before i have it run on a cycle ,

that's my point...they're holding too much water...so adjust the level of hydroton in the table and raise the cube so high that it doesn't get wet when you flood....then you can water several times a day and never overwater!!!
sounds like an easy fix on this one!

i'll just take a plastic notch off the overfill tube so the water level is like you said. That means less water to fill the table and i can run my 30 gallon res

i'll be on tomarow with an update

cool...can't wait.

dont forget to water it much more often...at least 3 times per lights on as long as the cube doesn't touch the water level.

good luck
