Hey guys. I think i am approaching the end of my grow as i am in the 6th week right now. I am growing indoors hydroponically and my buds look beautiful and dense. What my question or questions are, is do the plants stop making more flowers once they reach a certain point and start to develop more trichomes? I have been taking clips of the tight leaves bound in the bud to examine it and i can see some clear trichome formations and some cloudy ones, i'm pretty sure its probably a good time to start to flush so that way i can pull out ones that finish early. I know its hard to say without pictures i'm going to try and get some on here tonight.

Do you know what kind of seeds you have? Differnt strains take different amounts of time.

At the least you should wait 8 weeks. That's not to say you won't get high off a plant that's 4 weeks into flower, I have after trimming off the popcorn buds down at the lower part of the plant.

I'd wait another week to start the pure water "flush." You want to do it the last 7 to 10 days.

Keep in mind you STILL have to wait another week at least to smoke because you need to dry it. Preferably you will then wait another week while the herb cures. I've got two more days till harvest and it's killing me that I have to wait another two weeks to smoke it.

The great thing about the wait is when its over. To be honost, I started sampling three days into curing on one batch, then let the other batch go 50 days. Good luck!

I know i cant wait ethier it's like it will make the smoke that much better because you know you grew it ah i cant wait!...but i will.
I'm not sure what they are i got them when they were clones but for sure they are a indica strain! and they look like Diesel the pistils are so bright yellowy white and their is about 10% of light brown pistils too. Right now i am in my sixth week next wed will be the start of the 7th week and that is when i am going to start flushing them. I have a pocket scope capable of 100x magnification, their is visible trichomes on the leaves however they are half clear and half milky right now so i guess its pretty safe to say i have about 2 weeks to go. My next batch i will be doing is From the flying dutchman and they are Blueberry X Skunk #1 Feminized it has won many cannabis cup trophies in 2003. I can't wait to see those ones, they are a indica dominant strain. And at least this time i have the proper lights right from the start.

Here's a pic of my 6 week old girls that will be done in 2 weeks i think maybe sooner i'm thinking, what do you guys think of these? I'm gonna start flushhing in the next couple of days cause i think i might be pulling some of the bigger plants sooner than the smaller ones.

Looks to me like they've still got some swelling up to do. It's amazing what happens in the last few weeks. Id maybe hold off for another week before flushing?

Ya i know their pretty coverd in resin! I started my feminized seeds yesterday at around 4:00 and i just looked today at 6:00 and they already sprouted under 24 hours! i'm impressed must be really healthy seeds. Can't wait to they start to grow!
