hey ive got a problem.My plants are cut down and trimmed and are hang drying.The plants smell like hay or fresh mowed lawn something like that. and the small piece that was dry enough to smoke tasted just like it smelled.Is there something i,m missing? but i thought drying plants would have a pungent skunky smell.How can i correct this problem.

It depends really. Once you cure for a week or so the smell will start to come out again.

Put them in jars for a couple weeks, open every day to see if its too moist.

i know about curing,but pre cure while drying is it common to have this problem?

Don't worry it will get its scent back.

You're just smelling the "green" in the plant. Once it dries out fully and cures it will smell nice. I know that weed changes smell; like I had an Indica that was smelling skunky when freshly harvested,but after it dried and cured,it smelled like peanut butter!
