The trichomes look mostly milky and it is at 44 days flowering. It is an 818 OG Kush we picked up at our local dispensary. This is my first grow and I need a little education. Our setup is a 600 W HPS, hydroponic system.

They look very nice, but if you are at 44 days you still got some time to go usually around 60 days give or take. Now might be a good time to start thinking about flushing and no more nutrients. Go down to Radio Shack or Walmart or where ever and get yourself a little hand held microscope something that will go 60-100X's zoom; as you get close to the 60 day mark start monitoring your tric's (the little crystals all over the buds) read up a little, you'll find some info on what you are looking for and some good pics of some of these at different stages, but basically when most start to get cloudy you are ready, you can wait a bit longer and they will start to get a red/amber tint to them looks almost like they are bleeding, this is the resin starting to break down so you don't want too much of this but it should give more of a couch-lock effect. Anyways good luck.

every harvest is different and 55 - 60 days is about ok. you just have to see how it goes day by day
