I was just curious if I could still get the rest of this plant to grow well if I took the top cola off in about a week & a half.

You can harvest in sections, which is best when working with cfls. Cut the top bud off and bring the rest of the buds up closer to the lights. At this point you have more than a week to go before cutting anything off. You have atleast 2 1/2 more weeks to go.

After seeing your latest post, it looks like you have over a month before those buds are ready. It takes about 2 weeks longer for full maturity when growing under cfls.
