I have a a WW grow now 10 weeks into flowering. I am using about 400 W of CFL's, and have started flushing a little more than a week ago. The buds have seemingly finished their fattening stage. They grew, slowed down, then suddenly fattened up again, which in my other grows meant there was about a week left

but these guys are stubborn, all the hairs are now red, but the trichomes are all clear still!!! not even a hint of amber.

Its weird cause my last grow was the same genes with bigger plants and same setup, and they were 50/50 by nine weeks. So whats going on here. Should i just wait the week i was planning and just harvest anyway. I took a sample and definately got the super couch high I expected from WW.

If you get the high you like then harvest...how many plants you got? Havest half of them and give the other half another week or so I guess - if you got one plant take about half the buds off and see what happens to the rest of them in a week or so...

I totaly agree with you man, then he can choose which high he likes from the trichroms and its always good to have something to compare to.

But what about the oh-so important trichome? Arent you supposed to wait until there is at least a little color?

It's not the color Amber you are looking for.... it's the "cloudiness" or "opaqueness" of the trichomes before they turn Amber. Are you sure what you are seeing in the scope is crystal clear trichs? Are you sure you aren't seeing a percentage that are "cloudy" or "milky" in color?

I'd hate to see you wait too long and end up harvesting late.... since you smoked a sample and got the couch lock high ... and are at 10 weeks then I'd say you mis-read the trichs or there is just something flukey about the plant.

One last thing... are you sure you aren't just stoned and mis-reading your calendar? Perhaps you are really only at 6 or 7 weeks.... double check your dates

HAHA im sure, take into consideration WW can go as long as 12 weeks or more

ill double check and see, but i think ill harvest within the next two weeks

I found this site called URAjerk.com maybe you can use it. It seems to help get me through the issues of dealing with some of the jerks I know. At least I can vent about these jerks, plus I get a kick out of sending them some cards.

I think somking the trichomes will be my outlet but thank you
