Day 57 trich pics....NL

So this is day 57 of flowering...I posted a few days ago of bud shots but now I pinched a small bud off and put it on a white piece of paper to put under my hand help microscope and managed to take a few pictures....I appear to be all clear to milky....think I will flush and wait one more week...whats everyone else think.....oh and the bud shot was at day 53 lights are off now cant get a new one....

you said the light is off and cant get a new one. then why flush and wait nothing is going to happen with no light. or did i read it wrong

i think he meant that the lights are off so he cant take a new pic yet

Yes i did mean the light is off currently for the night period.... But I have read that leaving the light off for 24hrs before harvesting will let the plant know its at its end and make a lat push to swell resin glands....I am going to try this it makes sense to me....I also put this plant in 24hrs of dark to start its flowering and I think it helped get flowering off to a good start.....This is my first finish so who knows.... I do have one question though....my plant has tons of pistils and the trichs I feel will be at peak before the pistils all turn redish...during the drying/curing process do these white pistils turn reddish.....thanks

Yes, the pistils will turn redish as it dries. I've had some that was ready before the pistils turned wich left me with a very hairy bud! Most people are impressed with the hairs. lol

looks pretty solid, is it bagseed, or nothernlights- is that what the NL is, what is it?

Yes the NL stands for Northern Lights....I was a free 5 seed pack from attitude seedbank.... G-13 Labs Northern Lights....This was the only female....My last post ppl seemed to think it wasnt NL but thats what the pack said so that is what I am rolling with....ha....Trichs tonight have much larger milky looking knobs on the end so as soon as I see a few amber ones I am going to cut her down and will definetly keep posted on yield as this is my first finish and have no clue as to what it will be....The top cola is every bit of 12inches and as round as a 50 cent piece....thanks for the post fellas

So I cut down on day 63 which was last sunday! The main cola on the plant weighed 44g and the rest of the plant weighed 16g....lol.... That was with out toping or pruning or anything. After that fact I have been reading seriously into pruning and am taking a different approach this round... Anyways been cut and in a shoe box for about 5days now and is pretty dry and weighing in at a soft 23g....just hoping it stays around a half oz....I am putting it in a jar for a few weeks and seeing what happens.... I have just realized it is going to be much harder than once thought to grow a good amount of pot...ha....good thing I like a challenge.....peace
