This is my first grow and I might have started to flush to soon but what I'd like to know is I picked a couple of branches after a week of flushing nutes and then put a jar but the weed dont smell like weed at all anyone know if it will get better with time or have I done smething wrong.

Are you opening the jars for an hour and turning the buds daily?
And the buds have to be dried before going in the jars.

Yes I dried for 9 days and I open the jars for about a half hour a day but they still dont smell like weed?

yea i recently harvested and my stuff smells like green banandars...
ive read that you gotta cure for at least 2 weeks for the smells to start coming out...
(new face?) cool!

I think it has something to do with the breakdown of chlorophyll. I dunno maybe im wrong.

i recently harvested a batch of bud same stuff i grow all the time but this batch does'nt taste the way it normally does. the room got hot during growing and the room i dry in is very hot this time of year is there a connection?

When I recently harvested, the buds reeked when I hung them . . . they reeked when I moved them to jars. After a few days of curing, that reek had gone (I couldn't even smell it, Mrs.F could)
Now, a couple of weeks later, that bud is all but initially cured and a nice smell has returned, nothing like as strong as the live bud, unless I'm busting it up, but plenty aromatic.
I'm guessing you'll see something similar, assuming it reeked wonderfully as you grew it, especially at harvest time!

It did smell good while growing and when drying but when I open the jars for this past week it dont smell very good at all I dont know what it smells like but I know it dont smell or taste like I want I hope it gets better!

man, im havin the exact same thing, smelled GREAT when growin , but now that im curin em they dont smell much like bud, more like...grass or somethin, and it doesnt taste so great rite now, lemme know when u findout what this all means tho. thx

Patience is key... it sucks but has to be done. i look at my jars everyday hoping they pick up smell. ive found out that after 2 -3 week of burping i leave the jar closed for a week and then smell it. it already picked up some weed smell. then close it up for another week and smell it again.
