I cut down 2 plants today and harvested them prematurely because I found little seeds starting to grow in the pistils, but I kept 2 more alive because I really wasnt sure what to do. let them ripen and have seeds or cut them down. Unfortunately the genetics of this plant make for loose airy buds and if they were to be left to mature would be nothing but seed pods stacked on seed pod and stem. I guessing I harvested arund half a lb.
So will these buds make good hash or not? I estimated by the size of the seeds that the plants have a few more weeks to go. I harvested them on day 67 of flowering.

You can make hash with the immature bud as long as you have some crystals (Trichromes) on the leaves and bud. It probably won't be very good stuff though as the THC content is probably very low.
If it were me, I would allow the seeded bud to mature fully, pick out the seeds (to re-plant) and smoke what you have left. After the seeded bud is dried and cured, use a grinder to seperate out the seeds for later use. That's me. I figure you will get something good out of it, may as well let it grow.

I have learned from my limited experience that if the trics are completely clear you can easily get anxiety form it. A view people have also confirmed this. Not that good of a feeling, like 10 cups of coffee all at once. I would wait until they are at least a little cloudy and they should make good hash
