How do you know when to bud is ready to go from drying to curing ? I'm just curious because im in my 7th(day 50) week of flowering and i picked a bud to test and its dry on the outside but the stem still isn't hard in the middle of the bud.

when you dry it in paper bags or what ever you shold keep checking it to see if the stem can snap or at least break in some way then you want to put it in air tight so it keeps whatever water is in the bud to come out of the stem to produce a finer smoke once you do it once it becomes obvious and easy

Thats cool I was just about to ask the same ? I too am drying a sample bud but I'm on week 12 of 12 and 12 so I'm pretty close.
