Default Why would you put Curing jars in the fridge

Why would you put your jars of bud in the fridge during curing? Like what effect will it have on the buds? Ive read you should in a few places but they never said why! any thoughtS?

because its dark and cool?? thats my guess
make sure your jar is airtight otherwise moisture will get in.

Its after it is Cured fully. Its a climate controled enviroment.

I've heard that putting jar of buds in the fridge will preserve taste and high for a longer time.... but I have never tried by myself... the harvest always finish too soon

The reason is to slow down THC degradation.
