You will be getting close when the white pistils start to turn red, almost ready to chop when 2/3rds are red. But like korvette said check the trichs to be sure.

lookin good always check the trichs you can never tell until you do, my bud had 30-40% amber and all the trichs were pretty cloudy so you never know.
