Would not flushing plants enough before they are dried and smoked cause crackling and sparkling from the nutes when smoked ? I have only heard of this and I'm just curious about what it could be.

I don't think so but it would be harsh when smoked.

Ive dried weed in the microwave before, straight from cutting - no flushing, and it indeed sparked and burned a little in the microwave. I was surprised, but im guessing it has something to do with certain metals in the nutrients.

It is very possible.Most of the time it wont happen but if the grower really loaded on nutrients and did not flush the plant the buds can be left with nutes in it and when you smoke the weed it will sort of crackle or maybe pop.Shitty dried and cured weed has been know to do it also.

yea i notice when im hitting my bong on certain weeds its smarkles but thats probably because its wet....
