do i have to cure them in the dark too?
i just keep wanting to look at them.

Yeah, it is better to cure them in a dark place. You don't have to necessarily, but to get the best taste and aroma then it is recommended.

its been over a day since i put them in jars. they still feel crispy dry. how long dose it take for it to re moisten itself? should i add some fan leaves or should i wait a few more days?

Sometimes if the bud is a bit too crispy I put a little orange peel in there to moisten the bud a little bit. Not to mention it gives the bud a bit of citrus taste and smell. Be careful not to put too big of a peel in there because it can cause mold. Plus it is good to cure least a week (don't forget to open up the jars for 15 min daily). I hope this helps.
