has anyone used either to dry bud... i figure ittl work cuz cardboard sucks moisture out of everything....pizza....the crust gets dry as fuck...anyways would it be bad to stick colas inside p towel rolls....empty of course

YES, you want it to dry nice and slow, anything you do to speed it up will affect the quality.

Why the hell would you ever stick a bud inside a paper towel roll to dry. Mold might build up in between. In my Opinion, the slower you dry and CURE your bud the smoother and tastier it is.

Why are some people in such a rush to quick dry buds... YUCK!!!!!!!!!

patience is not very common, after a few ruined nuggets though they will realize it was just a waste, i have to admit it is sometimes quite hard not to speed things up a bit

Agreed, And quite frankly so many [ My first grow included in there aswell ] Harvest so early that it really won't matter how It's dried. You could throw it on top of your muffler and drive around town if your in a hurry. Premie weed is nearly worthless anyway. [unless you have plans for hash]

My good buddy just had his first harvest, Crackedout and started whacking at like 6 weeks flowering, by week 7 he had picked it all, dried it on top of his 400 watt hps reflector [yummy..] I really tried to stop him but he couldn't be swayed. The sad part was that he turned what was to be a much better harvest into less then 2 ounces by cutting so early. So if you did a quick harvest a quick dry probably wouldn't matter all that much as you have little to lose. If you just cant wait.... well you will learn,and next time i bet you are far more patient.

i dont really have a place were i can hang them without them being noticed. hightraffic house with rommies. any other ideas

Oven at 150 degrees for an hour with the door cracked a bit will work, but I agree with the above posts - the slower the better. I don't ever advocate the microwave.

GROWFAQ here's a link to an odorless bud drier...maybe you could stick it in a shed?

Screw that! If you can not harvest it, you should not have grown it.

But even then, just go buy a Bummble-Bee extractor and make oil, or at least canna butter. if not cure your stuff correctly.
