So How does everyone dry their weed? Im looking for a recomendation or two. Just curious to know how YOUR doing it and what has worked best for you. I have had problems making mine smell like what im used to buying. The quality of my bud has been awesome so far . its just when i dry it the end product still ends up smelling like green. my whole house smells like skunk but the bud doesnt.... Thanx

Heres what i do. I hang plants in dark for a week or so. check stem. snaps. goes into jars. leave in jar. open jar once a day until i get to the right ammount of moisture then i jar until its needed.

Haha, he doesnt get what your saying. All in all it comes down to opinion. theres no right way to cure bud but there a lot of bad ways.
Good way #1: cut plant hang, wait a couple of days and cut off excess leaves, hang some more. Cut buds off and stickinto brown bag turning them everyday for two or three days, out into jars and burp them like you have been doing. now some buds take a couple weeks and some take a month or two to get that smell. Why do you think the bud you buy smells good? Because it has been curing between dealers for who knows how long until it is in your hands and ready to smoke.
Good way #2: cut fan leaves and trim before you cut the plant down. Let them dry out a couple od days then hang for a couple days. Always circulating air and never block oxygen from them, Place in a cool dark place for a couple days then jar them again.

Like i said, when growing your going to hear a lot bullshit from all these people on this site. the right way to grow comes frmo experience, how you use your system and what works for your environment. Stop listening to all these people. Go to a hydro store and talk in person but remember, all that is said is opinion and cases from experimenting.

oGze........Here's my method..I do all the trimming down to the nubs at one time. Then I hang them in a dark place about 60-70 degrees with a small fan blowing all the time. Exhaust the air in the room as often as practical. I wait until the branches just bend ..but without snapping. Then I cut them and put them into glass jars for the final cure. I have used plastic containers ..and they work o.k. but the glass just seems to work better. Maybe it's all in my head I don't know. Anyway I burp them twice a day for 10 minutes or so for the first 2 weeks. After that it's once a day for the same amount of time for an additional 2 weeks. After that it's a very mellow smoke. The kicker is that you have to have enough weed from your previous grow to hold you until your new grow is cured properly. Don't cheat...it's definitely worth the wait...Just my experience...Good luck my friend..
