I know wines do have a certain point in the maturation where they start to turn bad, I'm no wine connoisseur, but I wonder what that point is for weed?

Well, I think if you leave your weed curing for much over six months without freezing it or vacuum packing it I think it will start to degrade. Without proper storage it will probably start to really dry out and the thc will degrade after 8-12 months. I know with proper storage you can save it indefinitely.
