I'm so lost...

This is my first grow and my plants will be ready in about a month, and i don't know the first thing about hanging or drying, or cureing.... from what I understand you just cut the plant, hang it upsidedown and let it dry...(for how long?) and after thats done the slightly moist buds need to be placed into an air tight glass jar and "burped" twice a day(for how long?)... should the jar be in the light or dark?? warm or cold?? I know I'm getting a bit ahead of my self but i just don't want to mess it up.

let dry for about a week (depending on the humidity and temp of your region).

about a week or 2, personal preference.

keep jars in dark.

LOL... well you can't be THAT lost if you got your plants to the harvest stage (or close to it).... mine never made it past seedling

Oh well... if first you don't succeed... try... try again!

Anyway... the grow FAQs up top of the page have a pretty good write up on harvesting. I'd spell it out here in detail .... but given how shitty I did with my first attempt it's probably best you read for yourself.

LOL... oh but it was that bad.... let's see where did I go wrong??? I started out great! Seeds germinated..... seeds planted.... seeds sprouted... Hell I was on my way!!! 8 days later... seeds still looked like they did 3 day out of the coco.

I had done and bought everything but a PH meter..... I thought I was ok because I used one of those manual kits.... apparently I must be color blind because what I thought was a 6.0 turned out to be 8.0.... when I got my meter I found this out.... but it was too late. I tried and tried to save them with PH corrected water.... in fact they are still up there in my room right now... dying .... while I hold out hope they will recover.... I think I have a better chance at winning the lottery

It's all good.... I have re-vamped my plan for the next ones... and will try again. I don't feel too bad as I only started with 3 seeds because somehow I knew I'd mess it up. A kind member here has been offering help and I'm taking mental notes from everyone else's posts here so hopefully my next attempt will go better.

Honestly I have to laugh about it because I see posts where people have just thrown seeds in a gutter... or dropped them into a driveway crack and voila..... PLANTS!!! It really makes me laugh (well it would if I weren't crying)
